Our Programs
Emergency Medication Request
Our emergency medication fund helps cover the cost of needed mental health medications for residents of Cleveland County. The form, available through the link below, should be completed by a mental health provider, community support personnel, your nurse or a doctor's office. Limit is $50 per year for each consumer*. Once request is confirmed a check will be dropped off at the specified pharmacy or mailed depending on pharmacy location. Prescriptions must be called in or dropped off to pharmacy before a check can be delivered.
Please note: We do not provide funding for benzodiazepines.
*Special circumstances where need exceeds $50 will be considered on an individual basis.

Mental Health Wellness Programs
We offer a wide variety of programming to help support mental health wellness. This includes trainings, programs for youth and adults, and activities that support mental well being. To learn more, click the button below.
Operation Santa Claus
Each year MHA proudly sponsors Operation Santa Claus for adult
residents of Cleveland County living with a severe and persistent mental illness or intellectual and developmental disability.
Many of the adults who participate in the program are both physically and mentally disabled. Many are individuals from Cleveland County who now reside in state facilities such as J. Iverson Riddle. For a great many of these consumers, this is the only gift they receive at Christmastime as many have no family and some even no home.
Monthly Mental Health Education
A big part of advocacy is education. At MHACC, we aim to provide easy to access information on mental health topics. Each month we focus on a specific topic to research and share about with our community. We are also working toward having events that coincide with our educational topics in order to take this information to our community. Support Groups
We work with the community to establish support groups surrounding topics community members have expressed a need for. Current MHA support groups are:
Depression and Anxiety Support Group | every Thursday 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm | 205 S Washington St. (Upstairs)
